Hello, i wonder if burping all the time and a warm full feeling in the back of your throat when burping could be acid reflux? I am pregnant and have had a sore throat for a while and excessive mucus in my throat, and contstant throat clearing. been to the docs and he says its Acid reflux but i dont get heartburn so i am confused

My Dad has this condition and he never got heartburn at all. Worse; he had great difficulty in swallowing as the years went by, and could only do so after taking some sort of muscle relaxant. Listen to your doctor on this one

Your excess mucus production is actually protecting the lining of your foodpipe (esophagus) which is in turn preventing heart burn as the refluxed acid contents of the stomach do not come into contact. Yet you do still have GERD. Consult your doctor. He is right.
