“Chronic Heartburn” Is a Sweet Dish By Douglas Sheffield In an area filled to the lid with cookbooks of each taste and portion, “Chronic Heartburn: Managing Acid Reflux and GERD Through Understanding, Diet and Lifestyle” is a welcome and well-prepared arrival for gastronomical considerations little served at present. For any individual who suffers heartburn, and thereby have a tendancy to view the kitchen with a great deal of trepidation, “Chronic Heartburn” is a gateway to culinary freedom and delicious experience. As gratifying to read as it is written and researched, the book offers everything: causal data of acid reflux (including informative diagrams), treatment choices (including herbal ones), modus vivendi modifications, guides to foods that injure and heal, charts for efficaciously managing heartburn, and over one-hundred recipes, from soups to smoothies to main-course meats and seafood. Among my favorites: grilled halibut with papaya salsa, Russian-style borscht and mango chicken. As one who, like many, does suffer bouts of heartburn, I’ve come all over few books that so efficaciously take the worry out of dining.

Chronic Heartburn Review By Debra A. Hipskind I in truth like this book. Some things are a little contradictory to other web websites such as eggs will have to be eaten with caution and then they suggest it for one of your meals. However, there are alot of recipes that I have found to be very comforting for my stomach. Especially the beta power soup. I was to the point to where medicine wasn’t even working for me very well and this book helped me to get on the right track. I do feel better since following the diet and would commend this book.
